Indiana Evans to star alongside Juliette Lewis & Ryan Phillippe In 'Secrets & Lies'

GENERAL: Indiana Evans has been cast in the US pilot series Secrets & Lies alongside Hollywood stars, Juliette Lewis and Ryan Phillippe.

The Australian actress who starred in the remake of the American telefilm Blue Lagoon has just signed off on the contract and was given 48 hours notice to prepare for her flight to the US last Friday.

The Disney-owned ABC network has commissioned the 10-part drama series about a family man who finds the body of a young boy and quickly becomes the prime murder suspect. He has no choice but to try to find the real killer as his marriage, his kids, his reputation, and his sanity are all at stake. Shooting starts this week in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Indiana is currently on Australian television reprising her role as law graduate Tatum Novak in the television drama series Janet King - an 8 hour legal political thriller (and Crownies spin-off ) – ABC 1, Thursday nights 8:30pm.

Indiana Evans is repped by Kermond Management in Australia and The Gersh Agency in LA.
