AFTRS Open Their Doors For Open Day
September 01, 2010 11:17
Open Day at the Australian Film Television and Radio School is a fantastic opportunity for potential students to get a feel for the intensive hands-on training and state of the art facilities they can expect from the national screen arts and broadcast school.
This is where previous graduates such as Warwick Thornton ('Samson and Delilah'), Gillian Armstrong ('Death Defying Acts', 'Oscar and Lucinda'), Jane Campion ('Bright Star', 'The Piano') and Phillip Noyce ('Rabbit-Proof Fence', 'Salt') honed their skills before going on to international success.
AFTRS attracts students from all over Australia who are driven to create, experiment and hone their skills. The School is dedicated to nurturing and preparing the next generation of Australian screen storytellers, broadcasters and digital practitioners and delivers courses across the nation.
So whether prospective students are fresh out of high school, or just embarking on a screen arts career, freelancers or experienced practitioners, AFTRS has options available for the acquisition of relevant and up-to-date training and education in all facets of film, television and radio.
In Sydney, all Heads of Departments will be available to discuss the course offerings in 2011.
Open Day is free, and there is no need to register.
Applications to attend the school in 2011 open on Sep 1. For more, visit www.aftrs.edu.au
