Queensland TV/Film Pitching Competition

Former CEO of the Australian Film Commission, Chris Fitchett, will join a panel of distinguished industry judges at QPIX’s SUPER PITCH, where up to 20 of the top TV and film concepts in Queensland will pitch against each other to win a money-can’t-buy place at the Screen Development Australia (SDA) National Pitching Competition.

For the first time ever QPIX is opening up its exclusive position on the SDA national Pitch competition, to the public by selecting the best TV and film concept in Queensland through a competitive pitch process called THE SUPER PITCH.

All competitors in THE SUPER PITCH will receive an instant critique of their concept and their pitch from the industry judging panel which includes former AFC CEO Chris Fitchett.

‘THE SUPER PITCH is a wonderful opportunity for emerging practitioners to develop the pitch for their project, present it in a market-ready state to an industry panel and receive invaluable feedback from key professionals in the film and TV industry,’ said Mr Fitchett.

The industry panel will select the winner of THE SUPER PITCH, who QPIX will fly to Sydney to compete at the SDA Pitch at the 2010 Screen Producers’ Association of Australia (SPAA) Fringe Conference.

Applicants from all over Queensland are encouraged to submit their concept to THE SUPER PITCH before the application deadline of Monday September 6th.

The best 20 pitches will be selected from the applications to compete at THE SUPER PITCH on September 17th.
