Sustainable practice in the creative screen industries.30 Aug

Metro Screen invites you to participate in this unique opportunity to learn from pioneering Australian leaders in sustainable production practice. Intensive afternoon workshops will lead into lively evening panel discussions about the very real environmental challenges we face.

Workshops schedule:

Trash to Treasure: Creative reuse and Art Direction.
4pm – 5pm | $10 / $15 for non members
Speakers: Kerri Ainsworth - ‘the designing woman’, Mel Flanagan - ‘Sacred Scraps’.

Sustainable On Set: Practical “Green Screen” solutions, strategies and systems
5pm – 6pm $10 / $15 for non members

BREAK:
6pm - 6.30pm
A chance to network and take advantage of our viewing stations that will be running form 1.30pm. Showing eco friendly films and inviting you to explore the plethora of green information that can be found online.

Punk Monk Propaganda collective and Hayley Ablott will transform Metro Screen into an inspiring space for creative eco-interaction. Featuring entirely sustainable art installations constructed from materials salvaged from The Bower.
