A two-day Weekend Intensive presented by LA-based writer/producer Paul Margolis.
As an Aussie writer, you face unique challenges. How do you expand your reach outside the regional market? Paul’s workshop will help you lift your game and CREATE STORIES THAT SELL.
HOW TO BREAK INTO HOLLYWOOD will cover the creative and the practical, including what Hollywood is looking for and why; the Aussie Factor - shifting the appeal of your story from the regional to the universal; rules of the Hollywood game and how they’ve changed; preparing a personalised strategy for selling your script.
A successful writer and producer, Paul has written screenplays for every major movie studio in Hollywood. Current projects include 'The 13th Apostle', a psychological thriller slated for production in 2011.
