Engaging & Unusual Cinema From the Canary Islands at the Instituto Cervantes

From the 7th of July until the 25th of August, the Instituto Cervantes in Sydney will screen shorts, documentaries and films supported by the Government of the Canary Islands in Spain.

Every Wednesday at 6:30 pm, the audience will enjoy an exceptional selection of good cinema, engaging stories and unusual landscapes filmed in some of the most impressive places in Spain, the Canary Islands, well known for their rich nature as well as for their cultural heritage.

Four main events, The Canaries in Short 2007/2008, The Canaries in Short 2008/2009, The Canaries Documentary and Canaries in full, will offer a unique close up to the talents of the islands.
