The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

June 23, 2010 09:48

The much-anticipated trailer for the third installment of THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER (in Digital 3-D) has debuted on the official Facebook page for the film and the official website: http://www.facebook.com/narnia and www.narnia.com

In this new installment of the blockbuster “The Chronicles of Narnia” motion picture franchise, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie, along with their cousin Eustace, royal friend King Caspian, and warrior mouse, Reepicheep, find themselves swallowed into a painting and onto the spectacular Dawn Treader. The fate of Narnia itself rests on the success of their mission, which takes the courageous voyagers to mysterious islands, a pool that turns anything it touches into gold, fateful confrontations with magical creatures and sinister enemies, and a reunion with their friend and protector, the “Great Lion” Aslan.

Return to the magic and wonder of C.S. Lewis’ beloved world, with stars Ben Barnes (King Caspian), Skandar Keynes (Edmund Pevensie) and Georgie Henley (Lucy Pevensie), alongside newcomer to the franchise, Will Poulter (Eustace). Also starring are Bill Nighy as the voice of Reepicheep and Liam Neeson who returns to the voice of Aslan.

Michael Apted directs from a screenplay by Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Richard LaGravenese and Australian Michael Petroni, based upon the novel by C.S. Lewis. The producers are Mark Johnson, Andrew Adamson and Philip Steuer. The film was shot at Warner Bros. Studios on the Gold Coast.
