Advanced Screenwriting Trilogy

Join a small, select group of advanced Australian screenwriters for an utterly unique approach to crafting and selling a mind-blowing, compelling script.

During the course of three sessions over a six-month period led by LA-based screenwriter Paul Margolis, you and other participants will go beyond the basics of screenwriting to learn the secrets of scripts that sell. You will pitch one or more movie ideas which will be discussed and analysed with professional scrutiny.

Eight weeks later, Paul will return to Melbourne for a focused weekend workshop intended to keep you on track. Each script will be discussed and critiqued in detail with an eye to maximising its emotional power and commercial appeal.

Another eight weeks later, Paul will be back in Melbourne for the final weekend workshop to help you design a clear, personalised strategy for penetrating the super-competitive US film market.

During the entire process you will be able to contact Paul in LA by email for help or feedback.

PLEASE NOTE: The Advanced Trilogy is intended for serious, professional-minded screenwriters. A writing sample is requested.

SESSION 2: 13 - 14 NOVEMBER 2010 (10:30AM - 5PM)
SESSION 3: 9 - 10 JANUARY 2011 (10:30AM - 5PM)

Cost:
$550 (Per session - due 2 weeks prior to each)
$1,300 (Pre paid for all three sessions - due by 1 SEPTEMBER)
