The June installment of Caught Short celebrates all things loud. From music clips to rockumentaries to yelling, June 6 will be a night of aural splendour. Like always we’ll have a bunch of filmmakers on hand to answer your questions as well as a bag of goodies from Icon and Metroscreen to give away!

Program highlights:

There's no better way to kick off a celebration of sound than with this evocative music video by Thomas Puller. At the Park is a haunting tune by singer/songwriter Sarah Giufre.

When a young woman cannot take the verbal abuse of her personal trainer any longer, she comes to a life affirming realisation. Get a Life... 'Coach' is a comedy from Greg Punch about personal image and the ridiculous seriousness with which some people take it!

Beeli Sim’s contemplative film 'Linger' observes the grieving process undertaken by a father and daughter. 'Linger' is a confronting tale based on a true story.

'The Band, The Myth, The Legend. The Blazing Guns'. In the spirit of the great rockumentaries like 'Spinal Tap' and 'Anvil', Dan Balcaban and Hamza Mohsin have chronicled the journey of fabled rock band The Blazing Guns, as they negotiate love, life and (near) fame.
