Australia Decides New Designer Choc Top Flavour

Moviegoers are preparing to rainbow rockstar it up, chomp on a coffeecrunch or do the triple choc tango, as they decide the new Event Cinemas designer choc top flavour!

After more than 10,000 entries in the “This Is My Choc Top” competition, giving movie lovers the chance to design and name their own choc top, three flavours have been named as finalists and have gone into temporary production.

The overall winner, to receive a year’s supply of their very own ice-cream flavour, will be determined through the highest sales of each product in Event Cinemas, Greater Union and Birch Carroll & Coyle cinemas nationally over the next three months together with votes lodged at mychoctop.com.

The first finalist, created by Ashley Fletcher from Schofields in Sydney’s west, is Ashley’s Rainbow Rockstar, a double dose of delicious combining rainbow ice-cream and mini marshmallows.

The second contender is Kathryn’s Coffeecrunch created by Kathryn Leslie of the Newcastle suburb of Adamstown Heights. This delectable design includes coffee ice-cream mixed with chocolate biscuits and caramel ripples.

The third finalist comes from North Rockhampton in Queensland, with Alex Kirkland designing Alex’s Triple Choc Tango which boasts a mega chocolate hit including choc fudge ice-cream teamed with choc chips and white chocolate ripples.

The overall winner will be named in July.
