National Talent Competition Calling For Entries!

April 28, 2010 10:49

RockIT, WriteIT, ShootIT, SnapIT or DesignIT for National Youth Week and have your work judged by some of the best in the industry.

Are you Australia’s next big star? Young people can get creative and ‘Live It Now’ by submitting an entry to the National Talent Competition as part of National Youth Week 2010 celebrations.

The National Talent Competition is an opportunity for young Australians aged 12-25 to showcase their talents by entering five talent categories: RockIT (music), WriteIT (literature), ShootIT (film), SnapIT (photography) and DesignIT (graphic design).

The National Youth Week 2010 theme is ‘Live It Now’ and young people are encouraged to embrace their creativity. There are great Sony prizes up for grabs!

Entries can be submitted in two key categories; Junior (12-17) and Senior (18-25). Renowned industry judges will determine the overall winner. People’s Choice winners will also be selected via an online poll.

International bestselling novelist and industry judge of this year’s WriteIT category, Tara Moss, supports 2010 National Youth Week and is encouraging young Australians everywhere to get involved.

Entries for both the Win Free Stuff and National Talent Competition close at 5pm AEST on 30 April, with winners announced in June. Competition entry details and more information about National Youth Week can be found at youthweek.com
