‘Beneath Hill 60’ World Premiere Confirmed For April 8

Jeremy Sims’ keenly anticipated feature film ‘BENEATH HILL 60’ starring Brendan Cowell will have its World Premiere in Sydney on Thursday, April 8.

Brendan Cowell is returning from overseas to walk the red carpet at the Premiere at Event Cinemas in George Street with fellow cast members including Gyton Grantley, Steve Le Marquand and Harrison Gilbertson, leading lady Bella Heathcote, and Director/Co-producer Jeremy Sims, amongst others.

Townsville, where ‘BENEATH HILL 60’ was predominantly shot, will host the Queensland Premiere of the film on April 14 at Birch, Carroll & Coyle Cinemas with Jeremy Sims and Gyton Grantley as special guests.

Key cast including Brendan Cowell and Gyton Grantley will complete a publicity junket for the film in Sydney on April 7 & 8 and Brendan Cowell will travel to Melbourne to promote the film on April 12 & 13. Queensland-born cast members Gyton Grantley and Warwick Young will travel to Brisbane to complete interviews for the film on April 13.

‘BENEATH HILL 60’ is based on the epic true story of Oliver Woodward and his platoon of ordinary Australian miners who tunnelled beneath enemy lines and changed the course of the war on the Western Front.

‘BENEATH HILL 60’ is directed & co-produced by Jeremy Sims; produced by Bill Leimbach; written & co-produced by David Roach; with Executive Producers Ross Thomas, Greg Rains and John Lee. Toby Oliver is Director of Photography.

‘BENEATH HILL 60’ opens in Australian cinemas on April 15 and is a Transmission/Paramount release.
