Young Filmmakers Workshop at Metro Screen

Starts: 14-Apr-2010. Capacity: 21
3-day intensive filmmaking workshop for 11-16 year olds.
This 3-day workshop teaches the fundamentals of filmmaking. From script to screen, students will start by developing a story, shoot and edit and adding those final touches including titles and music.
Participants will be divided into three groups to create any of the following:
• A Short Film
• Television Commercial
• Theatrical Trailer
• ‘Behind the Scenes’ Documentary
Day 1: Brainstorming ideas, scripting and basic camera operation.
Day 2: Storyboarding, green screen and interior/exterior shoot.
Day 3: Final Cut Pro editing.
