Flickerfest Touring To Starlight Cinema North Sydney, Broome And Dungog This Week

Flickerfest clocks up three more venues on the National Tour this week, touring to Broome, Dungog and returning for one night only to Sydney at Starlight Cinema.

ME Bank Starlight Cinema is presenting the award-winning Best Of Australian Shorts programme from the famous Bondi Flickerfest at North Sydney Oval on Sunday 14 March.

Flickerfest is proud to present Directors Chris Kezelos, Michael Hill and Hannah Hilliard, and Producers Christine Kezelos and Linda Micsko in a panel discussion which will be followed by a Q&A session.

Broome
The two-day Broome festival over March 12-13 showcases the best of the best of Flickerfest 2010 International and Australian Programmes and includes the much-awarded locally shot film Two Men. Directed by Dom Allen, winner of Emerging Filmmaker award at MIFF, the film was shot in Fitzroy Crossing and now returns to the Kimberley for this special screening. Also screening is the International 1 Programme with The Six Dollar Fifty Man (NZ), a rebellious little film which won the Shorts International Prize at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival.

Dungog
Screening in Dungog in glorious 35mm film is the International 2 Programme, which
continues to delight audiences across Australia with highlights of the programme
including the film-in film short piece Citizen vs Kane (France) and Australian winner
of the Yoram Gross Award for Best Animation (Flickerfest 2010) The Cat Piano.
