Helicopters, Aston Martins and of course Bond, James Bond…all in aid of CareFlight

Hundreds of James Bonds and Bond girls are descending on the Ritz cinema in Randwick to raise money for the rescue helicopter charity CareFlight.

Guests will be photographed by paparazzi as they walk up the red carpet to the champagne reception before the film.

CareFlight is parking one of its helicopters outside the art deco cinema next to an Aston Martin.

Marc Forster, the director of the new Bond film has said he is going to try to pop in on the night to say hello.

Mr Forster has also signed copies of Quantum of Solace posters to be auctioned off at the after-movie cocktail party.

The champagne reception is at 5.45pm, the movie begins at 6.45 and the after-movie Bond-theme cocktail party continues into the night.
