Actor Sam Worthington returns to Australia to join local top actors to present at the 2009 Kodak Inside Film Awards

It was announced that one of Australia’s most acclaimed young actors Sam Worthington has returned to Australia and will be supporting the Australian film industry by presenting an award at the 2009 Kodak Inside Film Awards in Sydney’s Luna Park on Wed November 18th.
Worthington has become a household name in the US starring alongside Christian Bale in Terminator Salvation and has roles in a number of upcoming blockbusters including James Cameron’s Avatar, The Debt with Helen Mirren, Last Night with Keira Knightly and Eva Mendez, and Clash of the Titans with Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes. Worthington is no stranger to the Inside Film Awards having begun his career with roles in IF Award winning films Getting’ Square and Somersault.
Presenting alongside Worthington will be some of Australia’s brightest stars including Megan Gale (I Love You Too), Kat Stewart (Tangle, 30 Seconds, Underbelly), Matt Day (Tangle, My Year Without Sex), Justine Clarke (Tangle, Love My Way, Look Both Ways), Peter O’Brien (30 Seconds, Underbelly and X Men Origins: Wolverine), Gyton Grantley (Beneath Hill 60, 30 Seconds, Underbelly), Aden Young (Mao’s Last Dancer, Beneath Hill 60, Lucky Country), Emily Barclay (Prime Mover, Suburban Mayhem), Jacqueline McKenzie (Beneath Hill 60, Mental, 4400, Without a Trace) and Emma Booth (The Boys are Back, Clubland.
Film fans now have the chance to rub shoulders with these and other Australian stars on the red carpet and glamorous after-party at the 2009 Kodak Inside Film Awards. Tickets are available from www.ifawards.com
