Youth In Revolt
While ocasionally a little too clever for its own good, this witty and ambitious comedy comes out on top.
Visioneers
A peculiarly compelling little film which admirably demonstrates restraint and well-paced comedic timing.
Beneath Hill 60
Devoid of overblown heroism and boosted by fine performances, this is a powerfully affecting war tale.
A Prophet
This sprawling ultra-realistic prison drama is a near-masterpiece and further complemented by a clutch of impressive special features.

Stunt Man Dreams Come True

A Champion Combination Work Together to Help a Dream Come True!
After foregoing a long term dream to be a movie stunt performer to look after his young children who had suffered profound hearing loss at birth, Shaun Trait’s ambition looks set to become reality thanks to a combined effort from future action star of the feature film THE NINJA, Rob Baard and Australian Stunt Academy principal Colin Handley.
Needing to ensure that the family was financially secure and realising that the children would require several operations and ongoing treatment, which included educating the children on how to communicate using Australian Sign Language, Shaun chose to put his dream on hold and pursue a career that would provide the stability and support that his family was going to require ahead of the surgery for the children.
Now, with both children living life to the fullest, Shaun has decided to put the dream he had as a child, back on the agenda and quench the thirst and passion he has for the film industry.
Using Colin’s assistance at the Stunt Academy, this coming November will see Shaun start Stunt Training 1 Course, a 100 hour course held over 3 weeks.
The course covers many theory and practical elements of professional stunt performing including but not restricted to: tumbling, low & high falls, motorcycling, abseiling, water stunts, firearms, fire & human torches, car hits, window penetrations, stair falls, wirework, aerial spins, flying, climbing and fight choreography.
