Movie reviews for kids by kids - New Australian website
Kids Go Moo - kidsgomoo.wordpress.com - is a new website created by Year 7 student Isobel Andrews.
Isobel is a passionate film-goer, but was tired of reading movie reviews written by adults with no perspective about what kids really wanted to see, and this is what prompted the creation of the site.
“I couldn’t find anything out there that was genuinely aimed at someone my age - it was all about what grown-ups thought we should be watching, and what we should enjoy”, says Isobel. With some blogging experience under her belt already, she set up a collaborative site to publish movie reviews written by kids for kids, and Kids Go Moo was born (kids go to the moo-vies - get it?)
The next time you are trying to choose a film to go see, or a DVD to rent, check Kids Go Moo first!
Kids Go Moo currently has three writers, and is inviting applications from other 7 - 18 year olds interested in providing reviews. Why not drop Isobel a line on kidsgomoo@gmail.com?
