Despite his leading man looks, Aaron Eckhart has never opted for the traditional Hollywood path but has instead built up a resume as an impressive character actor. Throughout his career, the actor's portrayed a tough-nosed bully (In The Company Of Men), a sleazy husband (Nurse Betty), a suave company man (Thank You For Smoking), a tortured politician (The Dark Knight) and the list goes on... Eckhart's last two performances on the big screen have seen the actor add two more diverse characters to his resume - a father grappling with his young son's death in the confronting drama, Rabbit Hole, and a bona fide action hero in the alien invasion flick, Battle: Los Angeles, out today.
